Southampton star Mario Lemina has had his British record speeding fine slashed.
The Sun says the record £96,000 speeding fine has been slashed to £2,000 after a court blunder.
Lemina received the penalty on Monday after his Mercedes was caught speeding three times.
The 25-year-old admitted failing to identify the driver — but was sentenced under guidelines for speeding which allow for monster fines.
Aldershot magistrates in Hampshire yesterday admitted their mistake and corrected it.
Gabonese Lemina keeps the 18 points and year ban given on Monday.
