Manchester City star Leroy Sane scored a brace to inspire a 2-1 win at West Bromwich Albion in the third round of Carabao Cup on Wednesday.

The Citizens have made impressive starts in cup competitions, and they also find themselves at the top of the league table.

Following the game at the Hawthorns, the Germany international reminded that the City squad want to win every competition this season.

"Every player wants to win everything. It's a dream for us all and everyone needs this motivation to win every single game," said Sane.

"It doesn't matter what competition we are in, we want to win."
