Sandro was delighted with his playing return for Tottenham in their friendly against Espanyol.
The Brazil midfielder hadn't featured since midway through last season due to knee injury.
"It was fantastic, an amazing feeling," Sandro told the club's website. "It felt like my first game all over again.
"It's been seven months without football so to come back and see the fans, it was amazing for me.
"It was a special moment and I have to say thank-you to everyone. I'm so happy and now I will improve myself every day to get stronger and stronger."
