Tottenham's deal for Sandro will include a partnership alliance with the youngster's club, Internacional.

The Times says Harry Redknapp began to implement his plans for next season last night when Tottenham Hotspur agreed a deal to sign Sandro for £9 million.

The Brazil defensive midfield player will not arrive until the end of summer, after he has played for Internacional in the Copa Libertadores in August.

As part of the deal, Internacional will send youth players to Tottenham, who will provide marketing and management help to the Brazilian club.
