Sandro says there's confidence inside Tottenham of winning a trophy this season.
Indeed, Sandro is confident his new club can be crowned league champions for the first time in 40 years.
"With the team we have we have to think big," the £8 million summer signing said. "This could be quite a historical year for Spurs.
"We have some very good, top quality players and Spurs play such good football. We have to be competing with the other top teams and should be knocking on the door of the league and cups too."
Sandro has admitted he's struggled during his first season in England, but is optimistic he can produce his best form in 2011.
"During the last four months I've certainly had some ups and downs," he added. "It is difficult because at Inter I was a regular in the team and now I have to wait for my turn which is always tough for every player.
"But now I think I am past that period and feel stronger for the rest of the season. I'm hoping 2011 will be a good year for me and of course for the club."
