Sanchez Watt still hopeful of Arsenal future

Arsenal striker Sanchez Watt retains hope of making it at the Emirates.

The young striker spent six months away from north London in the Football League with Sheffield Wednesday and then Crawley Town.

"Being away teaches you to be independent and not rely on the best facilities we have at London Colney," Watt told Arsenal.com. "You have to be more of an individual to go out there and do your thing.

"The loan spells were good experiences but sometimes things happen and a lot changed. But I am always learning from other players in different environments and it was good.

"This summer I just have to get out there and show people what I can do. I have been doing extra in training to try and get ready for the new season.

"It feels good to be playing the Arsenal way again. It's been nice to come back, get fit and see the other players again. I'm just going to try and do better than I already have done in pre-season."
