Arsenal defender Per Mertesacker was thrilled with the entire team in the wake of Monday night's 3-1 win over Hull City.
A brace from Alexis Sanchez either side of Aaron Ramsey's 33rd-minute goal gave the Gunners a comfortable victory at the KC Stadium and although it was the electrifying performance of the Chilean that will grab the headlines, Mertesacker was more rapt with the performance of the team as a whole.
"That's really important. The first one was deflected but the second goal was a really good team effort as well," he said of Sanchez's brace.
"He went in behind and the ball came from Aaron so everyone contributes a lot. I think that's the most important - that we're strong as a unit.
"After that game he stands out but that all comes from a massive unit."
The win saw Arsenal join second-placed Manchester City on 70 points although the Gunners have a game in hand.
