Lawrie Sanchez says Roy Hodgson's Fulham could beat the drop with "his team".
Sanchez, who was axed on December 21 and replaced by Hodgson, remains bitter at his treatment by the Cottagers.
"I managed Fulham for 17 games but having spent another £10million and with Brian McBride and Jimmy Bullard back in the team they have one point more than I secured in fewer games," he said.
"Now they're out of the bottom three for the first time since I was there.
"Roy Hodgson yesterday said it's taken four months to know what his team was.
"Well I was only charge for four months and it's my team that's playing now."
