Fulham boss Lawrie Sanchez is happy with the impact made by rookie fullbacks Nathan Ashton and Elliot Omozusi this season.
"What they've now got to show is whether they are consistently good enough. In Junior's [Elliot Omozusi] case, he was very good last week but he's unfortunately suspended for the Liverpool game - which is a real test of whether you're good enough."
The display from Omozusi was also a fine reflection on Fulham's Academy as another graduate turned out for the First Team.
"We spend millions of pounds on our Academy over the years and the situation is you've got to bring players through," Sanchez said. "With all the injuries we'd accumulated, they were suddenly thrown into the deep end and the question had to be asked 'are you good enough?' The only way you're going to find that out is by giving the players a job to do."
