Watford boss Quique Sanchez Flores is confident they can attract top players to Vicarage Road.
Genoa winger Diego Perotti has stalled on moving to the Premier League new boys, despite a bid being accepted.
But Sanchez Flores says: “We have our information about the players who can improve us and help us make the step up.
“It is not easy though. Players like Perotti, who was very good last season, have high expectations. They want to go to Inter or they want to go to AC Milan.
“They will wait until the last moment to achieve this possibility. If you are Watford you can offer London and the Premier League but they (the players) are still not sure.
“If the players come here for a couple of days though and see the project, the stadium and the training facilities then their mentality would change.
“However, it is difficult to get the players to come here for two days."
