San Lorenzo are continuing negotiations with Real Zaragoza over midfielder Andres D'Alessandro.

While a deal for the winter market couldn't be struck, the two clubs are maintaining contact as they attempt to thrash out an agreement over a fee for the Argentina international.

Zaragoza president Agapito Iglesias is demanding £2.5 million for 50 per cent of D'Alessandro's registration, but San Lorenzo's last offer was for £1.5 million for 70 per cent and £2 million for his outright signing.

Zaragoza have delivered a categorical 'no', but negotiations are continuing.
