San Jose's 'unnamed' trialist identified

The identity of San Jose Earthquakes' 'unnamed' trialist has been revealed as Gambian Omar Jessey reports centerlinesoccer.com.

The 17-year old has been in the Quakes' training camp for their past two friendlies against with the Kansas City Wizards and although slight of frame, has impressed with his pace and technical ability.

Jessey has trained in England with Chelsea and Crystal Palace and now is trying his luck in MLS.

Quakes general manager John Doyle says the club is trying to find a way to allow Jessey to play in the US and have even looked at a potential case for political asylum.
