San Jose Earthquakes striker Ryan Johnson believes the Jamaica national team can get over any team they face on their day.
Johnson netted the winner as the Reggae Boyz finished on top of the Group B table in the CONCACAF Gold Cup with a 1-0 win over Honduras on Monday night and he is now targeting even bigger scalps in the knockout stages.
"I feel if we play together, we can beat anybody," Johnson said.
"Confidence is a big thing when it comes to footballers. I feel confident in my team and it makes me feel confident."
And Johnson said that the length of how far Jamaica go in the tournament depends on how well they perform in defense.
"Defense is the most important thing," he added. "If we don't let them score on us, it gives us a chance to win. And now we're proving we can score goals."
