San Jose Earthquakes announced today that the club will host Swansea City of the English Premier League on Tuesday, July 31, at Buck Shaw Stadium at 7:30 p.m. PT.
The match is part of a two-game stateside swing for the Swans as they also travel to Dick's Sporting Goods Park to take on the Colorado Rapids on July 24 at 7 p.m.
In addition to Swansea City, the Earthquakes will begin selling tickets to their Oct. 21 match against the LA Galaxy at Buck Shaw Stadium on Monday, May 14 at 10 a.m. Season ticket holders will have pre-sale options until the public on-sale date on Friday, May 18 at 10 a.m. The match is San Jose's final regular season home date of 2012 and is presented by Wells Fargo.
"We are very excited to host Swansea City for an international friendly this summer," said Earthquakes Club President Dave Kaval. "Along with our big match against the LA Galaxy at Stanford Stadium on June 30, this promises to be a great opportunity for Bay Area soccer fans to see top-notch opponents take on their local club."
