San Jose Earthquakes general manager John Doyle is still unsure if the club will acquire Tottenham pair Simon Dawkins and John Bostock on loan.
The Spurs duo have been linked with a season-long loan at the Quakes for 2012 but Doyle insists the potential agreement is presently out of his clubs hands.
"They're not in our control. We have to plan that we won't have those players.""Those are things with Tottenham," Doyle said.
24-year old Dawkins spent last season with San Jose, making 26 appearances and scoring six goals, whilst 19-year old attacking midfielder Bostock has been heavily linked with the Quakes in the past week or so.
