Chris Wondolowski has been named the MLS Player of the Month for September.
The San Jose Earthquakes striker scored four goals and provided two assists in five appearances for the league leaders during the ninth month of 2012 to make it his third award of this type for the season.
Wondolowski has now scored 22 goals this campaign, five more than Real Salt Lake's Alvaro Saborio, as he attempts to win the MLS Golden Boot for the third season running.
