San Jose Earthquakes stadium on hold

San Jose Earthquakes proposed new stadium will not occur in 2012 as originally planned.

Team owner Lew Wolff says the 'Quakes still need to attract a naming rights deal for the $50million project and that they have only 20 per cent of sponsorships required.

Architectural designs will be released next month in hopes of attracting new sponsors to the stadium which will be constructed near Mineta-San Jose International Airport.
