San Jose Earthquakes have confirmed the contract extension of veteran forward Steven Lenhart.
The 28-year old has signed a new contract with the Quakes following a 2014 season which was curtailed by injury problems.
Lenhart, whose deal has not been disclosed per league and club policy, has been with San Jose since 2011 and new head coach Dom Kinnear was delighted to extend the MLS Cup winner's (with Columbus Crew) stay in California.
"We are happy to sign Steven to a new contract," Kinnear said in a statement.
"When Steven is playing and being productive, we all know the team benefits from that. We're looking forward to a productive season from him in 2015."
Since arriving in San Jose four seasons ago, Lenhart has scored 20 goals for the Quakes including 10 in the 2012 campaign which helped the club lift the Supporters' Shield trophy.
