San Jose Earthquakes have confirmed that they have waived midfielder Tressor Moreno.
The 33-year old Colombian had asked to be released by the Quakes after just five months and will head back to former club Santiago Wanderers in Chile.
"Tressor was unhappy with his lack of playing time here and he wanted to leave," Earthquakes general manager John Doyle said in a release.
"We respected his request and decided a mutual parting of ways would be best for both parties."
Moreno made a total of 12 appearances for the Quakes, six of which were starts, and provided three assists during his time in Santa Clara.
