Edmundo Zura may not be available for San Jose Earthquakes’ trip to Toronto FC this weekend.
The 28-year old Ecuadorian striker has joined the Quakes on loan from homeland club El Nacional but may not add to his 20 minute debut against LA Galaxy last week because of a visa issue.
Quakes general manager John Doyle is believed to be working on securing a work visa so Zura can play but even if that occurs he may miss the match anyway as he is not yet match fit.
Zura admitted his fitness was not up to scratch indicating that he may be left in San Jose for the vital clash with Eastern Conference’s bottom-placed team.
"It's not perfect but it's getting better," he said of his fitness.
