San Jose Earthquakes coaches working with Tottenham

San Jose Earthquakes coaching staff are visiting Tottenham this week. John Doyle, San Jose Eathquakes General Manager, and Head Coach Frank Yallop are joined by Ian Russell (Assistant Coach) and Jason Batty (Goalkeeping Coach) for seven-day visit.

Yallop said: "Tottenham Hotspur has a wealth of experience in the game. This visit is all about providing an opportunity to see how a Premier League football club functions from academy level through to the first team. This is the first part of the exchange programme we have in place and we hope that our relationship with Spurs will continue to grow."

Clive Allen, Tottenham Hotspur Coach added: "This is the first step of what will be a long standing partnership between Tottenham Hotspur and San Jose Earthquakes. The aim of the visit is to provide their coaching team with some exposure of our training techniques as well as an insight into the Club's infrastructure, especially at academy level. It will be a good opportunity to share ideas and look to see what we can all learn from each other."

The club partnership, launched in October this year, focuses on football and commercial development that will see the implementation of a best practice exchange programme.
