Chris Wondolowski has broken the USA national team's individual goalscoring record at the CONCACAF Gold Cup.
The San Jose Earthquakes striker came off the bench to score a second-half brace in the US' 4-1 come-from-behind win over Cuba, adding to his hat-trick in the 6-1 opening group stage fixture triumph over Belize.
Wondolowski has now scored the most goals by an American in a single Gold Cup tournament and was thrilled to be regularly getting his name on the scoresheet.
"Yeah, definitely. I think I'm very confident in my play and I think just even getting the goals is so huge," Wondolowski told reporters after the game.
"I'm feeling more confident in my passing and in my touch and things like that where it's really helping me, and it's really raising my leveI."
Wondolowski will be looking for more goals when the US take on Costa Rica in their final group match in East Hartford on Tuesday for top spot on the Group C table.
