San Carlos' Alvaro Sanchez will join MLS club Houston Dynamo in January if 'all goes well'.
The 27-year old Costa Rican midfielder, who has previously had a loan deal with FC Dallas in 2009, has said that he is likely to join the Dynamo ahead of the 2012 MLS season.
"There is already a verbal agreement with them. If all goes well I would be linking the team in January 2012," he told aldia.cr.
And San Carlos coach Daniel Casas is confident the Primera Division will get on without Sanchez if he does happen to leave.
"I would not think there is a dependency on it. I believe that without him the team would adapt to what we have," he said.
