San Antonio Spurs remain committed to MLS expansion club
The parent company of the San Antonio Spurs remain committed to forming a MLS expansion franchise.
Spurs Sports & Entertainment, the parent company of the four-time NBA champion Spurs, are exploring stadium options for their planned MLS club.
“We want to be somewhere where professional soccer can succeed in the long-term. It didn’t work out at Alamo Stadium and we are moving on,” said SS&E Vice President Leo Gomez.
