Samuel Umtiti enjoyed being part of Barcelona's victory in the Joan Gamper Trophy victory over Sampdoria.

It marked the former Lyon defender's first appearance at the Nou Camp.

"I'm happy to play at the Camp Nou with this shirt. I am also happy that my first game has been a victory," said Umtiti.

"The goal is to learn from the great players who are in the team and give a good answer to the coach when I get minutes.

"The coach told me to play as I know."
