Samuel: Bolton cannot show Spurs any mercy

Bolton Wanderers fullback Jlloyd Samuel says they must show no mercy to crisis club Tottenham this weekend.

"The result against Blackburn leaves us in good stead for Tottenham as four points from our last two games isn't bad," he told the Manchester Evening News.

"So, this weekend I think we can go down there, be positive and take all three points again. We would have liked all three points against Blackburn and we had the chances to do so.

"But we need to be more ruthless and put our chances away. It's a positive that we are doing better than we were at this stage last season and we going in the right direction because the performances are there.

"The clean sheet is a bonus we can take from the game.

"But we are all disappointed that we didn't take the three points. Maybe last year we would have accepted that, but now we really want to push on."
