Sampdoria's Palombo reveals Fiorentina interest

Sampdoria midfielder Angelo Palombo admits he attracted interest from Fiorentina over the summer.

"This summer there was a serious approach from Fiorentina for me, but I decided to stay in Genoa," said Palombo. "My contract? With (sports director Beppe) Marotta and (president Riccardo) Garrone I have an excellent relationship, there are no serious differences, and I believe that there will be no problems."
