Sampdoria new boy Vincenzo Montella admits he would have loved to have signed for Napoli over the summer.
"I am really looking forward to it and it is great to see Napoli back in Serie A, but I would have liked to play for them and it's a shame that never happened.
"To be honest I had expected some contact from sporting director Pierpaolo Marino and I was a little disappointed.
"I don't know if I will celebrate if I score, it all depends on my feelings at that moment. But of course I will try to find the target, I always want to get goals."
