Antonio Cassano's former Bari coach Eugenio Fascetti has criticised the Sampdoria striker after he received a five-match ban for his dismissal on Sunday against Torino.

"It will now be very difficult for him to get into the national fold," lamented Fascetti.

"Cassano is instinctive. In private he is the calmest boy in the world, but once on the pitch he has these moments which he can't control."
