Sampdoria are in talks with Fiorentina for striker Giampaolo Pazzini.
Samp chief Beppe Marotta is convinced they can prise Pazzini away from Florence following Fiorentina's capture of Alberto Gilardino from AC Milan.
Samp are also interested in Fiorentina fullback Manuel da Costa.
