Giampaolo Pazzini was delighted with his goal scoring performance for Sampdoria in last night's 3-0 Coppa Italia thumping of Inter Milan.
"I am doing well here, Sampdoria believed in me and I am happy to repay that faith," said the former Fiorentina striker who moved in the January transfer window.
Pazzini's rapport with Antonio Cassano has led some to compare them to the 'Goal Twins' of the 1990s, Gianluca Vialli and Roberto Mancini.
"Vialli and Mancini were champions and wrote the Samp history books, so we will just try to keep going the way we are and then leave the comparisons to other people," smiled the youngster.
"My brothers and friends from home came here tonight to cheer me on and we had a great night."
