Sampdoria striker Eder is out for the rest of the season with a knee injury.

Agent Andrea Bagnoli, however, says Eder can be proud of his campaign.

"Since it [the injury] happened, the outlook wasn't the best," Andrea Bagnoli admitted, speaking to SampdoriaNews.

"These things happen, it could have been worse, however when you get a blow to the knee you never know what can happen.

"I'm sad, because I think he could offer so much to the Sampdoria cause. It's been a 10 out of 10 season.

"In view of the injury I could say it's a 9.5, but as I say, these things happen in football, and you have to move on.

"I'm convinced that the player has the strength to work hard, and show up for next season in the best possible condition."
