Sampdoria striker Antonio Cassano doubts he could've made a difference for Italy at the World Cup.
Many blame Marcello Lippi for the first round exit after he failed to pick Cassano and Inter's Mario Balotelli for the tournament.
"I don't know if things would've gone differently in the World Cup with me on the pitch," he told Chi magazine.
"I do know that there is absolutely no point stirring up controversy now."
Most players become Coaches after they hang up their boots, but the mercurial FantAntonio has no intention of going down that route.
"I will definitely not become a manager. I don't know what I'll do, but I'll invent something."
