A Sampdoria loan deal could be on for Real Madrid striker Antonio Cassano.

Gazzetta dello Sport says agent Beppe Bozzo has been the key to these negotiations, pushing both sides to get together and reach a middle ground.

Cassano will have to accept a pay-cut to move to Genoa, but Real are considering the proposal and Samp sports chief Beppe Marotta is waiting to jet to Madrid to close the deal.
