Giampaolo Pazzini is thrilled with the success of his January move to Sampdoria.
The former Fiorentina striker has struck a stunning ten goals in 11 games for Samp and declared: "I'm still the same striker who never gets a goal.
"I am glad to have proved the doubters wrong. I think it all depends on what people ask of me.
"Here in Genoa the team play for me, while things were the opposite at Fiorentina and so I didn't have a clear head in front of goal, even if I am grateful to my friends there."
Pazzini already seems to be clicking with enigmatic former Real Madrid man Cassano.
"Cassano is the best footballer I have ever played with," the 24-year-old declared.
"It's true that there were links with English sides, but I only had eyes for Sampdoria because their sporting director Beppe Marotta gave me my first professional contract with Atalanta."
