Sampdoria are pushing Inter Milan to release striker Mario Balotelli on-loan.

After hitting a brick wall in talks for Fiorentina forward Giampaolo Pazzini and Chievo Verona's Sergio Pellissier, Samp chief Beppe Marotta has returned to the negotiating table with Inter for Balotelli.

Inter coach Jose Mourinho, however, is keeping Samp waiting and wants to see the condition of Adriano upon his return from Brazil before making any decision.
