Sampdoria president Massimo Ferrero admits he's been encouraged to buy Roma.

Ferrero was born in Rome.

“I'm fine in Genoa with Sampdoria, there's love and glory here," Ferrero told Il Messaggero.

“In my life I never say never, at Roma many people ask me to buy them… I'm fine where I am though.

“Totti? Francesco is a friend and a genius. He's the last of romantics, when he talks about Roma his eyes become glassy like a doll's."
