Sampdoria president Riccardo Garrone cannot guarantee Antonio Cassano staying with the club long-term.

"We need to see what happens," said Garrone. "In football, the results are unpredictable, just like the draw of Bari with Inter, and everything else is just as unpredictable .

"I would love to see him mature as a player here. The coaching staff have been surprised by the change they've seen from the player since he was at Roma."
