Sampdoria president Massimo Ferrero has welcomed Duvan Zapata and Ivan Strinic from Napoli.

Ferrero admits Napoli president Aurelio de Laurentiis is a difficult negotiator.

"Zapata and Strinic are two great signings," Ferrero told Il Secolo XIX.

“They'll strengthen the squad and go in the direction Giampaolo wants, he explicitly asked for them.

“Dealing with De Laurentiis is never easy, but I'm as stubborn as he is. In the end we closed the deal."
