Sampdoria president Massimo Ferrero insists they could yet keep hold of Patrik Schick.

Schick saw a move to Juventus fall through earlier this summer due to a failed medical.

“Whoever wants Schick will have to pay a lot of money for him," Ferrero told Mediaset Premium.

“He is training with us and for now he is our player. He will go to the team that is best for him, or he might stay. In that case, he really would be the best signing of the summer.

“Schick is a great talent and is so strong."
