Sampdoria president Massimo Ferrero has confirmed contact from Roma and Napoli for Patrik Schick.

Roma are regarded as favourites for the striker.

“Schick is leaving," Ferrero told Mediaset Premium in his usual jocular style.

“Tomorrow I am taking a train back to my house (in Rome), so if Roma come over, they'll find me. It's a fascinating Roma-Napoli duel for the lad, I just want him to go somewhere he can play and express his talent.

“Schick goes, we'll bring in a shock!"
