Sampdoria president Riccardo Garrone is expecting big things from his star summer signing Antonio Cassano.
"While it is hard to turn things around immediately, he has already shown in his first games that he can fulfill his promise and he is a great, intelligent lad.
"I speak to him honestly and he replies honestly as I'm a father and a grandfather and I have experience in these matters," he insisted.
"His temper is due to the way he was brought up and the kind of social and family environment he had to deal with. He can change as he is only 25-years-old."
