Sampdoria have made an approach to Inter Milan for striker Mario Balotelli.
Samp chief Beppe Marotta wants to take Balotelli on-loan for six months and made his enquiry last week.
Inter coach Jose Mourinho has asked for time to consider his options and has told Samp they will get his answer by January 15.
