Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini is keen on Sampdoria striker Giampaolo Pazzini.
Sportmediaset says Mancini is ready to rumble Juventus plans to prise Pazzini away from his Genoa club.
Samp president Riccardo Garrone insists Pazzini is not for sale, though sources say City's spending power could change his opinion.
Pazzini is a favourite of Mancini's and he has asked City's board to bid for the Italy international.
