Sampdoria coach Delio Rossi is determined to keep hold of his job.
Serbia coach Sinisa Mihajlovic is being linked with Rossi's post after Samp's defeat to Fiorentina.
"I haven't heard from anyone at the club. I am accustomed to working and am judged on what I do, not what I say," said Rossi.
"This evening we certainly had the opportunities to equalise, but every now and then we lack that little bit of good luck.
"Sampdoria put their faith in me and I usually deliver. For the past 10 years I've pulled the rabbit out of the hat, but this year it's a little more difficult.
"I am not considering a resignation. Why would I do that? I just get on with my work, though I know what football is like."
