Sampdoria coach Walter Mazzarri accused Fiorentina striker Adrian Mutu of diving during yesterday's 2-2 draw.

Mutu won a penalty after a challenge from Samp's Stefano Lucchini and Mazzarri fumed afterwards: "From the touchline it looked like a clear dive and the television replays confirmed my sensation.

"Mutu should have been booked and it's a great shame we conceded a non-existent penalty with the referee in such a good position.

"It is also disappointing to not get all three points that we certainly would have deserved. I am just happy to have seen so many of our fans come here to support us, but in my view today we threw away two points."
