Sampdoria chief Dario Tosi has declared Antonio Cassano's sale to AC Milan is close.
The deal could be wrapped up some time today.
"We have been working on this deal for some time and we are very close to a conclusion," Tosi stated.
"All you have to do is listen to the rumours that are being circulated."
