Sampdoria has confirmed major interest for striker Mauro Icardi.

Icardi has been a big success for Samp this season.

"Putting the transfer fee to one side, Napoli would have had to have reached an agreement with his agent," Doria sporting director Carlo Osti told Radio Kiss Kiss.

"Icardi is a Samp player, but we didn't say no and we'll evaluate everything in June.

"He is being followed by a lot of clubs, including Juventus and Inter, but I think it will be more difficult to reach an agreement with his agent rather than with Sampdoria…"
