Sampdoria chief Beppe Marotta has revealed they're in talks with Udinese about keeping striker Fabio Quagliarella for next season.
The two clubs are in co-ownership for the Italy star and Marotta said: "We are dealing in order to confirm the co-ownership of Quagliarella with Udinese, our will is to keep the player for another season, but we have not yet concluded the operation.
"The relationship with Udinese, however, is excellent and this makes our job easier."
