Sampdoria chief Beppe Marotta is proud of the business they did in signing former Fiorentina striker Giampaolo Pazzini in January.

Pazzini was outstanding in last night's Coppa Italia victory over Inter Milan and is already drawing comparisons with Samp great Roberto Mancini.

Marotta signed Pazzini for £7 million only a few weeks ago and said: "I think that the value of Pazzini has already at least doubled."
